Submissions
Off-Menu Magazine publishes thoughtful stories that explore the personal narratives and human experiences shaping the world of food and drink.
We’re drawn to work that illuminates the people behind the scenes, centering lived and shared experience. Through strong writing and photography, we examine the cultural, emotional, and social connections that food creates — bringing an anthropic perspective back into food media.
We welcome pitches that are rich in narrative, visually compelling, and culturally grounded. We value diverse perspectives and original approaches to storytelling, and we aim to spotlight the individuals driving the global food and beverage landscape.
Off-Menu Specials
We accept pitches year-round on a rolling basis for Off-Menu Specials, our digital column. The guidelines below apply specifically to these digital features.
Submissions for our annual print issue are not open year-round. We announce open calls for the print issue via our Instagram and newsletter, with dedicated themes, timelines, and submission guidelines.
